Brief History:

RiverStone Church began in the living room of Scott & Vickie Westbrook in 1991.   In 1994 we moved to the center of Gwinnett County and experienced a wonderful season of ministry as the Gwinnett Vineyard Church. In 2008 we relocated to our present location in Buford and changed our name to RiverStone Church

Our Vision:

To Build a Community of Faith that expresses the Heart of God.

* Experience God's love and love Him back through worship.

* Grow and mature through the study and application of God's Word.

* Develop community by connecting with other followers of Christ and sharing live together.

* Discovering and developing the gifts and abilities God has given us and serving others.

* Share God's love with our community and our world.

Jesus came announcing the arrival of the Kingdom of God into the world.  He expressed God's love through teaching, acts of kindness and demonstrations of God's power.  He offered Himself as the payment for our sins on the cross.  And He promised new life, new power and a new eternity to those who follow Him.   We desire to simply and lovingly follow Christ and let His presence live in and through us.  As that happens - His invisible Kingdom becomes visible.

A Typical Sunday At RiverStone:

As you worship with us, you'll discover a contemporary, causal, warm, God-centered experience that is relevant to your life.  There's no pretense or religious atmosphere - just real people loving a real God.  The worship songs are contemporary and easy to learn, the prayers reach out to touch the heart of God and the sermons are rooted in scripture and applied to our lives in a practical way.
